From students studying for an entire academic year abroad to students that are on a Spring Break program, the concept of packing to be away from home may appear more daunting to them than actually being abroad.
We encourage students to pack light, but there are some key things we believe all students should consider through a lens of health and safety.
That is why I created an Ultimate Packing Checklist, available to students who want some structure on the essentials to pack and flexibility for them to make the checklist reflective of their location.
Through my experience living abroad and even my experience as a Language Assistant in Madrid, Spain, where I needed to obtain residency after arriving in the country, I am used to the chaos and only wish to support other students to make the process of going abroad a little less scary.
